This pub has been open and shut regularly, when open then was not the bst

As of yesterday all the windows and doors have been boarded up, so sadly seems closed.

Clean refurbishment of burned down corner pub. Good location with views of the passing traffic. Modern feel to the decoration. No cask ales. Small beer garden out the back. Two main areas in the pub - the corridor like front area and the back area dominated by the pool table.

I have been in there a few times due to it being so close to my flat.
In general the service is quite slow and there doesn't seem to be a great atmosphere.
When I was last there the bar staff were too busy outside having a chat to notice that there were customers waiting for atlest 7 minutes and as a result they went to the pub next door.

Very warm atmosphere now it's in new hands. Great deals and looking much improved after recent a lick of paint outside. Thumbs up for happy hour!!

I visited this pub a number of times earlier this year and found it to be both friendly and welcoming. It�s interior may be shabby to the extreme and I wouldn�t recommend a visit on a Friday or Saturday night, but it�s well worth a visit on a Thursday evening for the quiz.

Recently refurbished and changed hands. New people provide warm welcome and friendly service. All beers chilled and well kept. Super happy hour Fri nights

Recently reopened and refurbished pub in the heart of Strood. Makes a nice change from the 'traditional' pubs in the area. Choice of drinks, service and atmosphere all great. Certainly deserves to do well! Check it out.
