closed again doesnt look like it will open again sleel covers over windows and for sale. this is a sign pubco want to sell for other use. At least residents will get peacefull fri/sat nights

Judging by the recent clientele I am fully expecting to see a multi coloured flag hanging outside and a name change to "The strap a dick to me".
Truly a terrible pub, the DJ's deck made out of gaffer tape is a sight to behold

3 words for you CRAP CRAP CRAP!!! this is the worst pub in Bolton badly run only reason it is still open is the late night drinkers and smokers else it wouldn't have lasted 2 mintues!!!!!!!!!

Terrible pub called in other night used to be ok a few years ago, but just got worse and worse don't think it will be open much longger, very few customers when I called in a few saturdays ago 3 in, won't be in again I'll stick with bridge

mr_fu no i'm not big franks best mate or something, I just know when a pub is being run right any one can fill a pub with a load of dick heads. when frank and sally had it a lot of the regulars who hadn't been in for years were coming back in. Now again those regulars aren't coming in as minesapint bob says.

This pub will not be open in another 6 months it is now one of the worse pubs in Horwich is not the worst. Don't no what that mr_fu is going on about quality ale and good custom don't know what nights he has been in even the regulars don't go in now it's that bad.

what a waste of time went in last night some daft disco just two piss artist dancing about if you can call it dancing and about three others in. oh there was a gang of idiots in when i first walked in punching some daft machine. glad i only got half beer crap too

Quality ale, good custom. What more can you want. Shame the women let it down,I've seen scarecrows with better dress sense. They are quite scary.

Yes Vic has opened and once again what a let down! still don't surpose it could be any worse than when that loyd had it. I have been going in this pub for nearly 20 years and the best it has been and i've heard a lot of others say it too was when Frank and Sally had it. You could relax and enjoy your pint without a load of idiots frank wouldn't stand for any nonnsence! It was always busy with a great attmopthere, it was the busyist it's been easily since 70's and now it's just dead it'll never be the same. I wish someone like Frank would come back again.

The Vic has re-opened in the last couple of weeks after being done up (not).
Some repainting and minor adjustments, otherwise the same old dump with the same customers.

Passed today and their were some workmen (or maybe demolition men)going in.

Very large open area with very few people in,landlady and staff very nice but landlord loud and can be abusive .

Not the best but 0.5 out of 10 - come on!
Much better bet than its New Road neighbours if you want to get a pint in on your way to/from the match
