More a place to eat than drink but if you can get a seat near the bar they have a good selection of beers and friendly staff.
Don't forget to try a hookah pipe.

We were very impressed. Interesting and tasty food. Not overpriced. Small portions so you have to order lots, but thats Ok. Pity about the TV being on the whole time.

I agree with Clare - Sept 03. We went when it first opened as we had been a fan of the same place in Googe street, but sadly we were very disappointed and had taken a good few friends too. The food was good, but very over priced and tiny portions if you are bigger than a size 8 5Ft 2" woman! Sorry guys you'll leave here hungry and feel cheated. The owner is sadly out of touch with reality, he needs to do a bit more market comparison in Balham. Suggest he checks out why people queue up to get into Bucci's! Then maybe he'll see why the place is always empty. Sad as we'd love it if it was better value for money and it would be a great addition to Balham's restaurant offer if they only got it right!

I've been once, and it was just what I needed. My brother and I were wasted and half-conscious after a chemical-fuelled night, and the Persian brunch (mini lamb patties, spicy scrambled eggs with peppers, toasted naan, houmous) was just what the doctor ordered. Nice comfy seating and a helpful waiter too. Haven't been in the evening though.

Dish Dash in Balham is a great restaurant, really comfy, staff are so friendly, the food is very tasty and you can order a good selection of dishes and also a large portion. the price is fair and there are much more better than anothers places around balham. I went there twice and i will go back, i heared that they have got a new menu out and i will be there to try, defenetly will be great the menu.

This pub is absolute pish pash, the food is vile, service is disgraceful and to top it off, expensive for what you get. Bypass Dish Dash and head for Exhibit, Duke of Devonshire, The Exhibit, in fact anywhere but not there!

Deco is relaxed and comfy, staff are polite and friendly and our group really enjoyed the vibe there. The food was vert tasty, a good selection available and well presented, however the portions were very small for the price. Balham has become agreat place to go out and eat over the last few years and i feel you can get more for your money els where without compromising on taste.

Balham is a really top area for eating at the moment and I would say that Dish Dash is its top place at the moment.
Persian food which is delicious. You order loads of dishes and share them between friends. It's a great idea so you get to try everything. The staff are lovely and really help you if you are not sure of what to order. Not too expensive either.

new pub/resturant in Balham (along from the bedford). very busy and very good. opened in may and certanily worth a visit. also the the ecplise round the corner (balham high road) has just had a big refurb and open two weeks ago as Blithe Sprit.
