Huntsman, Rochesterback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Went in recently on a Thursday night with my partner to watch the football. Pub was fairly quiet, but accommodating and staff were friendly. There were a couple of separate groups of locals who were happy to chat away to you about the football! I cannot comment on the beer as I stuck to diet coke (however can confirm this was fizzy and not flat/watered down like many pubs!) but my other half seemed to enjoy his beer! Food was reasonably priced and of mammoth proportions, nothing flashy but it does what it says on the tin!

An actually underrated pub. Friendly and accomodating bar staff, good quizzes and good food. Better than the pubs around there.

I tend to use pubs for meals rather than for drinking, so my reviews are more based around that. A very good no smoking area in the rear seperated by a single door from the smoking area. The non smoking area consists of seven tables ranging from four seats to eight seats on the large round table. The tables are not jammed in, and the space around them is very spacious. This would be good for people with prams or for those with wheelchairs in their party. The non-smoking area has it's own bar, and toilets, and we found they lady who served us couldn't do enough to attend to our needs. Very friendly, and professional service. The food was also of very good quality, and obviously cooked by someone who knows how to prepare a good meal. This will now become a favorite pub for my family.

I meant "roadhouse" not "roundhouse".

Large redbrick 1930s roundhouse style pub serving good value pub grub. Seperate non-smoking room at the back is mainly a dining area. There's a large, child friendly beer garden. Only one cask ale - Courage Best in reasonable condition. Drink related promotional posters dominate the decoration. What it lacks in charm, it makes up for in a clear effort to please the punters.
