Cracking pub,and being 10 steps from my Hotel made it even better.UsuaIly a belting pint of Guinness.I usually try and sit in the back room if possible. Its the kind of place whetre its very easy to start chatting to your next seat neighbours, and the pictures on the wall are worth looking at,though a couple of my own personal favourites -the geezer with the specs-are no longer there....Perhaps hes had laser surgery?

Quite simply the greatest pub you will ever set foot in !! AMAZING pints of "genius" old irish style decor ( not donkey and carts on the wall rubbish ! ) Serves till LATE !! perfect for "pre club" pints.. A masterpiece !
