Swan, Tettenhallback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Looks like may have changed hands from the previous comments. Couple ales on tap, if I remember correctly I had a green king ipa. Decent enough. Quiet when I went in but whom I assume was the owner was pleasant enough. Quite a large and spacious place, pool table, juke box ect. also plenty of parking.

Used to be a lovely traditional pub with great food at reasonable prices and great guest ales.Sadly the manager moved on and the lease was bought out by asians who to be completely frank do not have a clue(they also own the mitre on the green round the corner-another pub thats been ruined). The food is appauling(traditional indian cuisine- i'd go as far to say boil in a bag) and the beverages available are very basic and expensive, the one saving grace is the entertainment and thats pretty bog standard. We won't be visiting again we have been in twice to give the benefit of the doubt and both times were consistently poor- try the Newbridge on tettehall road for great food and if it just a nice drink at reasonable prices try the Pilot on Green Lanes.Such a shame they ruin these old pubs.Definately not worth visiting.

Does anybody know if Gamma Ray is still the gaffer, some of you may know him as Sting Ray or Jimmy Ray.
Used to be full of ex-carryon heads. Moody.
