CLOSED - On 24th November 2010 a planning application was lodged to convert the pub into 8 self-contained flats along with 168m2 of office space.

Formerly the Queens Arms, in late 2010 the bar area was gutted and the windows and doors were boarded up.

Great pub, but sadly it is no more. This is an ex-pub. It be pining for the fjords, etc...

Love this place. New owners since the beginning of the year who made me feel welcome immediatley as well as all the other staff who are really friendly. Fast service even if busy. Great food. QUirky, always something going on - music, comedy, art exhibitions, quiz nights. Sometimes feel like Im going round to my mates larger than average lounge for a good night.

Read the postings for this and really was not surprised by any of them. It really is an odd place, things happen in here that do not happen in other bars. The one I used to regularly have was them running out of beer (I swear they actually ran out of Guinness one night, or at least that was what they said). However, I still feel warm to the place because the staff are really nice, the clientele is friendly and neither chavvy or poncey and they put on good stuff, certainly a lot better than the toilet venues on Camden High Street.

I concur entirely with Pablos13, I used to live over the road from this place and entirely disapproved of the concept, but whenever I went in I generally ended up staying all night and having a pretty good time.

A good place to go for pre-theatre or gig drinks if visiting nearby attractions such as the Roundhouse or restaurants such as Vanilla Ices. Tucked away enough to be invisible to the hordes visiting Bartok or the Enterprise, there is something of a goth feel - both in the Castle of Otranto and Fields of the Nephilim senses.

Weirdly almost empty at 11pm on a Saturday night when the rest of Camden was heaving. Music was good mix of r&b, classic soul etc, clientele were friendly and the bar staff were lovely and attentive.
Maybe it was just because we were on jaegermeister bombs, but had a great time and felt like a local with a bit of a trendy feel for some reason. Sofas are a mite skanky right enough... Good place to either start or finish a good night.

Good atmostphere among customers but that is the only thing going for it. It was really grubby and is in need of a good clean. I ordered a glass of wine and had to ask for a different glass because as the first one was absolutely filthy. I was then being served by the barmaid in the function room upstairs. I've never experienced someone quite so miserable as her. She was far too busy chatting to her friend who was propping up the end of the bar. RUBBISH!!!

A strange combination of gastropub and bar that actually works, even though I hate both. It manages to be dark, atmospheric, trendy and original all at the same time. My only gripes are a limited range of drinks, a lot less seating that there first appears (particularly if seats are reserved) and one occasion when the barman totally failed to even acknowledge our presence while cashing up a till - I am aware that such an action requires concentration, but a brief 'be with you in a moment' would have been nice!

Quirky little place, nice atmostphere but the food was terrible.

Fairly nice bar with a gastro side line without being too much `gastro pub`. Feels kind of deep south/cuban(!)in its ambience, with a good range of cocktails and bottled lagers. Had keg Tetleys on my last visit and could do with investing in a cask pump or two before getting my regular custom. Staff helpful and prompt. A very decent music / dj policy here too throughout the week, without attracting the berks normally attached to that camden `scene`, which makes the brief trek from chalk farm a worthwhile one. Hidden away just off Havistock Hill, dont be put off by the grim housing estate and its braying hoodies.
