Now a Bangladeshi Restaurant and take away. Not eaten in as yet but just had first take away from there and was very impressed. Quick ordering service, friendly staff and prompt service on collection. The food was fantastic too! Would reccommend this pub to anyone!!

Never saw many people in here since it opened again. young inexperienced staff with no personality. Had to explain what I meant when I asked for a wine bucket to keep our bottle cool. Not surprised to see it shut yet again. Looks like its going to be a Bangladeshi restaurant now

This is a nice stylish place to eat. The food quality is high and the price is also. Good selection of beer and a nice crowd on a friday night. Good service.

After being closed for several months (6 ish) The Crown has now opened. I drank in the pub before the closure and had to give the new re-styled place a try. I found that the pub had been given an almighty face lift. (good thing) But the new land person had this idea of turning it into a bistro. (bad thing) In Odiham there is quite a lrge divide in the comunity. On one side of the village you have well off people, and the other is council and the local RAF station. The Crown used to cater for the more common folk with reasonably prised beer and a good atmosphere. Now it's been turned into a Pub/resturant all the locals on the less off side have lost their little pub. But got a more pricier wine bar. you decide!

Although I suggested this place, I didn't add any comments at the time as it's been some years since I lived in the area. In fact, when I first started drinking there the only toilet was outside which was a bit of an ordeal during inclement weather. However, the pub itself was always good and not infected by the snobbery as some of the local hostelries are. Beer wasn't anything special (Courage) in those days but as I say, a decent pub. Never had any music back then that's for sure.

An outstanding drinking experience. The charming proprieter is the very essence of the traditional caring pub landlady - always concerned about the well-being of her customers. She is an expert on the history of Heals, the furniture store, and is very knowledgeable about the manufacture of Heals mattresses.Music every weekend with a good - sometimes exuberant - crowd. And they take care of their beers.
