Stumbed upon this pub whilst completing a walk that I thought was in Dudley.
This fine looking pub is a Tap House for the holdens brewery and it has the 2018 Good Beer Guide Sticker in the Window - turns out I am in Woodsetton and I hadn't noticed its separation in the bible.
Large, clean and airy pub. Central bar. Restaurant in conservatory but had signs saying they didnt do food (maybe temporary).
Golden Glow in fantastic condition - as you would expect.

The Park Inn is the brewery tap for Holden's and is next to the brewery itself. Ales from Holden's were Black Country Bitter, Black Country Mild, Special & XB. Guests were Wye Valley Bitter, Enville Ginger & Sarah Hughes SPA. The Mild was certainly better than the Banks's version I had in the previous pub. Service was also decent and the locals seemed fairly friendly.

Fine Holden's pub with a large range of beers, not just from the brewery. Food available (nor Sunday). I had the Mild, which was excellent. Interesting old photos of workers at Holden's Brewery on walls.

Different interior from what I visited a number of years ago - staff were very efficient and polite - upon my visit 29/04/2011 there was a promotion on the Guinness @ 1.50 per pint !!!! Holden's April Shower was very enjoyable @ 2.60 per pint & Holden's Autumn Glow @ 2.40 per pint. Very good experience.

I've recently been to this pub and to be frank, it's probably one of the best ale houses I've ever been to. The pool table is class, and the service and food is amazing. Definately one you can't miss, a quality day out for the family and friends! :D

Good range of Holdens beers as you would expect, the Mild 3.7% is one of the 'chewiest' I have ever drunk. Modern interior with large TV screen and a long line of handpumps curving away into the distance. Nice pub.

This pub is Holden's brewery tap. Well worth a visit for real ale drinkers, otherwise a traditional ale house that has undergone an unsympathetic modernisation.
