Three reviews within 5 minutes of each other from 3 users for whom this is their one and only review...pure coincidence I'm sure!

Visited the Robin Hood quite a few times, as a single, recycled teenager I would have no problem walking into this Pub unaccompanied, not many women can say that about a pub! The staff are warm and friendly, the food is very good and the Log fire makes you wish you didn't have to leave. In july this year they had a beer fes, the atmosphere was amazing, the garden was some where my 5 yr old Grandaughter could play with out the adults watching her every move. Some on here say its off the beaten track, I disagree its all you want from a country Pub! A lot of fundraising and local functions are organised at the pub, creating a fantastic community spirit.

A lovely, friendly, family run pub in the back of beyond - but worth looking for! A warm welcome and great food. There are a few seating areas to choose from or the enclosed garden on a 'good weather day'. Well worth a trip!

Fantastic Staff, and a fantastic atmosphere, loved it, can't wait to go back :)

Went in while it was snowing also.
was there with my missus and another couple with a young child.
Staff couldn't be more helpful, surrounding were beautiful (but everything is when it snows).
Food was fairly ordinary but overall very nice.

popped in in the snow, was friendly, food for a picky eater (im vegan) was very poor, but beer was good (rpide) bit sad that there were no local beers availible as the master brew was off.

The best homemade Burgers I have ever had in a pub! great service and a gorgeous open fire

Update on my previous comments. Went on a Sunday afternoon and were told we would have to wait 40 minutes to even order food as they were so busy, despite many empty tables. This is the second time in three visits we have left unfed (the other because it was the wrong time in the middle of the afternoon), and we have cancelled plans to bring visiting relative for lunch. Such a shame to have to lower my previous marks, as this could be one of the best pubs in the county. If you are planning to seek out this isolated pub, I strongly recommend you phone ahead to avoid disappointment. Went to the Lower Bell for lunch, and persuaded a couple asking for directions not to bother.

popped in this weekend and enjoyed a pint of pride, nice place, cosy and friendly.

It's not somewhere you'll find by accident - it's up an obscure track off of an obscure country lane.Ideal stopping off point on a hike for the walkers amongst us. It's rather small inside, but it's got a spacious garden. The food's good and the beer's well kept, but then in all honesty I can say that about hundreds of Kent pubs, and apart from the surroundings, this is little different.

Apparently located within the parish of Burham which lies some way below, have added this isolated pub to our list of places to take the kids when older. Very friendly staff who were making newspaper hats with customers when we were there. My only complaint is the restricted times for food means you need to plan what time you get there, even at weekends.

Isolated pub with huge beer garden. Popular with walkers and families. There are bird cages in the garden. Food is honest and good value. Three popular cask ales including London Pride and Youngs Special, served in very good condition.
