We were slightly put off here when i was given change for a tenner and not the twenty that i handed over, thank god for modern technology as there was a camera by the till and the manager was helpful to resolve the situation.
Putting that behind us the pub is a great find when a massive beer garden by the river Otter, great for kids to play in.
The meal 241 meal deals are fantastic just over a tenner for two great meals!
This is a great pub for all the family more so in the summer i would think.

Good food and good value with the 2 for 1 main meals deal. But a fish pie from the specials board was awful, mostly cheese and very little fish but on complaining the full cost was refunded. We will visit again but maybe avoid the specials board. Excellent Otter ales on sale which helped save the day!

Good food - and very good value. OAP specials are actually available to everyone and give a free pudding. Other meals are good quality as well. Three Otter beers plus O'Hanlons Yellowhammer on my visit. Very good service.

Really nice garden, great for kids on a Summers afternoon. Food ok.

Dropped in here with friends who recommended it. Someone ought to teach the couldn't care less blonde behind the bar how to pull a pint of real ale. The two pints of Otter Amber she pulled for me you could have have put a flake in and it wouldn't have looked out of place. Great garden next to River Otter.
