Nice place, had friendly staff went in here after Yates door staff tried ripping us off on entrance. Dance floor isn't massive but had a good lively atmosphere. Music was good some songs; I didn't like but I guess dj played music for everyone not just me. Been in here twice a Twice - a Friday & Saturday night nice crowd - couple of planks tried causing issues and were swiftly asked to leave but then again that happens at most places... oh and YMCA !! got played just before closing - was an epic night would defo go again. they also do cocktails - had a green eyed monster - not recommended as its lethal!! & resulted in me being sick immediately after finishing it........... then I got asked to leave :) don't blame them to be fair lol All in all a good night would recommend it ............... only downside was no food - but to be fair KFC & subway are within puking distance !

Since 2007, nothing has changed - still full of idiots, still pretty much empty on a Friday & Saturday and the outside of this place is disgusting! The place has not had any repaint, refurb or anything of anysort since it opened years ago! Sort it out and people might start going there again!

Hi All, If anyone have visited Butlers recently, I would like a comment on how you see the staff, service, karaoke or prices. I've got some financial interest in Butlers and would like some feedback - good and/or bad. See you all.

this pub always had potential they just kept putting
a string of bad managers in how can you expect 21/23 yr olds whose idea of a good pub is to put crap doorman on and hire all the bar staff who have been fired from other pubs and have the likes of roys karaoke! please filling pubs with chavs is not always the answer!

Love the way MR GOO (crap name) and roys karaoke have placed posts on here to big themselves up. Whats the matter cant get any work....take the hint.
Stop wasting peoples time and post real reviews!
The only real problem with this place is the service,
the staff need a good training session.
The food and service was really really good when it first reopened but has since lost that. Shame!

When it's busy it's crap......full of scum. when it's not too busy it's ok for a sit down beer before heading somewhere else like the glasshouse.

went down here on sunday to the karaoke, aint bin for a while very suprised it looks very nice, and good to see ROYS KARAOKE is still there, always an excellent night if he is involved, he done my sisters wedding wicked night thanx mate if your reading this and keep up the good work

I tried Butlers on a Thursday night and what a difference very good dj's playing all types of music very busy and good atmosphere 2 4 1 cocktails wicked guys keep it up i'll recomend all my friends to go down but need to get new dj sat nights but i think you know that, sundays pretty cool too.................

Went down to butlers to see what everyone was on about and must say very nice good food bar staff very smart and good doormen and glad to see they never changed everything they still have the most awsome karaoke on sunday nights with Roy's Mad Mad Karaoke and big bonus stays open till 12.30 too and some good drinks promotions sundays were made for Karaoke Nights at Butlers High Wycombe

Great job on the re-furb. Much better! Door staff ARE polite and friendly, music is a little 'old' Perhaps with a quality DJ could be v.good.

not a student friendly pub.nice refurb but why keep serving filthy old drunks- sort it ouy guys- will this pub ever loose its bad reputtion- i think not!

slipped in ere for a beer on saturday night. I must say, very suprised on the re-vamp. They done wonders with the place. really nice lighting, A colour changing bar up stairs, Looks quite dandy. New Dj's on a friday and saturday night. Well worth a visit!!
