Agree with Jillbert - the landlady takes forever to serve a non-regular and she bring down the atmosphere. Everything here is OK - mediocrity.

Great Pub, Warm atomsphere! Food out of this world, born and bred Marsh but lived down south 8 yrs. Been to a few pubs and highly recommend this one. Got to admit the lady behind the bar is a misreable cow! Crack a smile Love!

booked a table for 6 no problem bar service was quick and efficent even though it was busy
our waitress left a lot to be desired though she just dumped our food in front of us and within a few minutes she was setting the table next to us for what a presume was beakfast for the following day
the food was excellant but the waitress on our saturday night was very poor

excellent service dispite what the prvious review states (by the way i dont think she is the landlady but only works there and yes she is a miserable cow)me and my family visited on a saturday night and were served stright away by a charming young man we then went on to order food which was excellent and very quick to be served the second time we went for drinks we were served by the same man behind the bar who remembered what we had ordered before and were served no problem all in all good value and good food and service and we will call again

wouldn't recommend. Landlady has habit of ignoring you whilst she serves locals, however long you have been at the bar. Food OK

Small pub popular for food with no smoking area. Four real ales, tad expensive. No TV's. Has its own accommodation.
