Used to drink in The Granville years ago but just started using it again recently. I must say that it has a great atmosphere about it and a very funny and charismatic young man holding this place up and Im sure I recognise him from a television programme but cant remember what one, will defiantly be using it more often.

Was advised to try this pub after years of avoiding it. This pub has changed hands and has a much nicer atmosphere and clientele. A few new ales on and well kept.

Will go back again.

Would have gone in here but it was closed on a saturday afternoon...so 0/10 for not even having any reason posted in the window.

Have had consistently good Abbott Ale in here and enjoy a pub that is just an honest pub. No airs or graces or yobs on Stella.
Gods Waiting Room? Little bit harsh but rather that than a kindergarten.
It is what it is - a decent pub serving decent beer.
You wouldn't think nick the landlord is into drag - that's drag racing not dressing up! ask him about it.

Old, Noisy and beer not very good. Bar maid and landlord both stand at the door and smoke like a chimney. !!!!!!! Not very welcoming

Good looking exterior, but other than that not too much to say...

It's a pub. Locals were ok, beer was ok, decor was ok...average in every way really.

seemed ok - ish the other day, locals place, and due to there being no garden people have to go out the front to smoke (including the bar staff!) which as this is the main way in, might put people off.

went here for a quick pint on my way home from work. very quiet, only one other customer, beer was ok, the usual greene king offerings. mentioned it to a work colleague, & apparently it's known locally as 'Gods waiting room' Might try it again but not worth going out of your way for.

The Green King Abbot Ale is always well kept. Try it on a Monday evening when there is a spread of cheese and biscuits and Nick the friendly landlord will provide you with a glass of port to accompany it. This is a dog friendly pub, there is usually a bowl of water available. Great atmosphere, roaring fire in the Winter months. And depending upon your musical taste, you may find the background music fantastic 60's 70's plus other stuff - not loud but very pleasant to hear some classics!
