Place closed as a nightclub but then reopened as a local pub but has now closed again.
I have yet to ever sample this place either as a nightclub or a pub which is a great shame as the pub is a fantastic looking mean boozer of a building and deserves to be open again.

Awful place, avoid it like the plague

How can some of these people slag off the trees? Paul and Sonia are great and make everyone really welcome! O.K, one person called it 'slapperville' but is that a problem? I would imagine that the boys from 3bde think it's got all the hallmarks of a great run! I've never known this pub to have any real trouble (probably due to the main client base!) unlike many other places on Unon street! If you are looking for a good friendly night out, good beer, good company and a good laugh, get yourself down to the trees! I only get in there a couple of times a year now, but look out for the regulars - some of whom are legends in their own lunch-times!

Busy pub with late licence. However, this pub and its staff infuriated me when having ordered one drink they charged me for two, gave me two drinks but refused to accept the barman had misheard. This was even before it was rang through the till, after politely drawing this to the duty manager was really brushed off with an indifferent attitude and a "whatever, so what shrug" ..So much for the customer is always right, not in here. Would never go in ever again, simply because of their inability to deal with a small misunderstanding and not accept they were wrong, POOR !

i was the cockney took the money and the pool games from the previous guy (roy cropper) commenting on this site(it was magic). I must say we had a great weekend made even better by the reception we got in the two trees from all the staff and punters alike. A big thank you to Sonia and Paul (the owners)a great atmosphere and craic

Just got back from a fishing trip to Plymouth. Must say a massive thankyou to Sonia at this pub. Great nights on Friday and Saturday, and a cracking atmosphere both nights. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if I did get beaten at Pool by a cockney....three times, damn him...and I had to bankroll him too for the weekend....and he wasnt sea sick.....and dont ask about the HSS hire shop either. recommend this pub to anyone

Went to this place a few times when I lived in Plymouth. Always felt like a 'local' pub to me where students were not particularly welcome. Not unusual to see a fight outside at closing time (which I did several times).

nice small pleasent pub that has been ruined by the influx of cheap skimmers.

I've been in the two trees last year. We started the night over there. It was a very nice pub with good service. The people were nice and there were no fights. After that we went to the Candy Store to end a good night of hard drinking and partying.
Greetings from the Netherlands.

I'm on pub tour of the UK. What a great pub. Also try the red lion in Thames Ditton Surrey. Almost as good as this place.
