I don't think it's got the famed curry house addition anymore but I have to say I liked this place on a quick visit last week. Marston's Pedigree was excellent and service friendly and accomplished. Nice open fire blazing and the food looked ok and remarkably reasonable. I didn't tray it, but quite a few people were enjoying meals in the bar area.

Visited the curry house restaurant recently - the food and service were top-notch.

Only passed through the bar and it looked like there were just three fairly unadventurous real ales available. I chose the Jennings Cumberland (you can choose from the bar for consumption in the restaurant) and it was OK.

The best real ale + curry choice in quite a large area I imagine !

Just been back after 3 years and whooopeee doooooo better than ever. New guvnor Paul done wonders to the place. Still four real ales on and a curry house tacked onto the rear of the pub which serves excellent food - try the naga chilli curry at your risk. Friendly crowd still and good atmosphere.

What a shame the pub is for sale. I visited it on the way to St David's a couple of years ago. Both the welcome and the beer were exemplary.

I hope it's sold and remains a pub, but in this day and age, I very much doubt it.

Pub has a "for sale" board as of August 2006.

Friendly pub in village centre. Quiz on Weds. Food available. Could do with a bit of a clean up. Real fires in winter. Real ale (Brains/Worthington) available.
