good prices. the only place in east dulwich to get a decent priced pint. they're revamping the place. hopefully for the better. it's a bit of a dodgy place though. not my choice of local [at least not after 10 o'clock]. but i do hope it doesn't follow suit with all the other pubs there and become a trendy, expensive east dulwich hangout. god we've already got a trendy fish and chip shop nearby called the 'sea cow' [exactly! - we wanna a bit of grease! - and a relaxed atmosphere - venture to emily's by the way in northcross rd for that!] anyway, my fingers are crossed for the foresters!

this place is about to change. the last of it's kind in east dulwich. sad really. we need somewhere like this to stop east dulwich finally turning in to Clapham.

love it or hate it. that`s what this pub is all about. i`m glad this pub is still here. east dulwich needs it or it'd be like bloody clapham. pool tables. cheap drinks. dodgy geezers. what more could you ask for? only thing i hate is watchin football in there. rather go edt even tho i hate it in there

You don't need a tv to watch the soaps - just go to the Forresters, much more fun!

I found The Forresters Arms to be a great family and friendly pub sutable for everyone. It was refreshing to see a pub with beer prices all to be under 2 pounds. Try it you might like it...

If you don't mind going in through the door and out through the window then this is the pub for you. Beer's fair but dodgy atmosphere.

It's a dive, but it's the only pub I'm not barred from, so I like it.
