Ate at this pub last night. Great carvery but also a great extensive fresh food menu. Staff were very accommodating also

RIP OFF !! Carvery at 7.99 and only 2 slices of meat!. You can get more than that at Crown Carveries (M&B chain) for 3.59 and yes it is worth eating. Small glass of wine and a pint of 'Bombardier' 6.40 I can't imagine where the people who think this is good value go for food and drink.

A welcome improvement on my previosu visit - much cleaner since the smoking ban and comfortably refurbished. Now has Copper Dragon Black Gold on handpull, plus 2 others on Tuesday. Busy for 5pm too

Went to this pub for sunday lunch , although very busy we did not wait long for food 2 of us had the carvery and one the sausage and mash all piping hot flavoursome and good value for money . the beer was well kept with a good selection . I would recommend this pub wholeheartedly for both food and drinks .

The Nags has been recently acquired & renovated by a chain the name of which escapes me, but....the carvery continues at 7.25 per head the restaurant menu has expanded & is very good. The beer also improves with 4 hand pulled beers, Courage Directors, Marstons Pedigree, Bombardier and Old Speckled Hen. Plus the usual dull range of hooligan lagers but interestingly includes Staropramen. Well worth a visit.

Ivy covered carvery pub next to the Premier Travel Inn near M62 J24. Has hand pulled Boddingtons and Theakstons Cool Cask. Not the most well ventilated pub.
