As a regular user of The Inn On The Chase, I think the comment about young staff watching tv in May 2009 is really odd, I was here when the Pub caught fire in January, and they haven't had a tv in there since, Until 2010!!! Eaten here lots of times never disappointing best carvery we have ever tasted

I'm definately in the negative camp. Only been there a couple of times, beer choice is limited with at least one choice not being available. Young staff more interested in watching tv and turning music up to ear splitting levels. Not impressed at all. Could do a lot better.

We had a great meal at this pub recently, would definately go back, staff very helpful, lots of fresh produce etc. Definately don't agree with the bad comments listed although I understand the pub has had new owners since oct 07 so this may explain it.

I actually ate here recently & thought it was a very friendly, warm environment, the food was beautiful & plenty of it served, & for the comments made on the down side of this pub I actually thought it was a lovely place to dine, it is after all a country pub so the need for major excitement is not needed, for loud music the Kings Arms of Shaftesbury has live bands which would suite you best, I think this pub is clean, friendly & best of all the food is great. So if you want a nice hot meal, good beer & an atmosphere you can have a chat over the table in come to this pub

I have eaten here a few times food was great beer was also good yes it could do with a lick of paint please not another white washed country pub with no life
|
hmm, yes I've eaten there a couple of times. when my dad used to own it. JACK. It's yellow now though. Enough to put you off your food.

I have eaten here twice and thouroughly enjoyed it both times, large portions of good pub food and a wide menu, although my wait was slightly longer on the busier night. Good Real Ale selection, the Dorset Gold i particularly good and the staff were polite and helpful.

Yet another pub that can't be bothered to make the effort probably because of its prime location on the A354 between Blandford and Salisbury. Furniture is tatty and staff are disinterested. Beer is nothing to write home about either.
