Nice pub near train station with it's surreal 'Enid Blyton' room, restuarant & Sports bar. Pub clearly gearing up for World Cup with 'Sky Sports' banners outside. Broadside & Youngs Bitter on - latter was Ok but a little warm as not pulled through. Small but functional beer garden.

Go there every Sunday - lovely place!

We often go here for a meal - it's a great place with a great atmosphere. The staff are all really friendly - it's a proper country local.

further to my previous review, went in here last weekend...they seem to have removed the atmosphere and friendliness over christmas.....
we had to wait for the landlady to finish playing on the fruit machine before getting served. not impressed!

very friendly pub and much larger than it looks from the outside. well kept if limited beer and an excellent array of events were advertised when we went there last weekend.

Just had a cracking pint (or 2) of Youngs and some lunch with my lady wife. Latest owners have made a great job of the refurb. Very pleased to rediscover this local pub as it's walking distance for me and well kept beer seems so elusive these days. Nice one.
