I remember it as being the first port of call for the Catterick squaddies to pick up 'something for the weekend' before they went on a trail of destruction around Darlington! Also I saw the place get smashed up more than once - beware flying glass.

I mearly don't like drinking in a place where you get asked for 'a spare twenny pence' by the burberry brigade when you walk in.

The hip place to be , if you enjoy a laugh and not a frown from the barstaff .

A pub that is very popular with middle aged chavs and alcoholics, who seem to have nothing else better to do than drink in the boot and shoe and talk about their incapacity benefit, whilst showing off their gold sovereigns.
