Awful, just everything I don't like about a place, far too expensive, no real beer, service poor and manageer exceptionally rude. Will never return.

No real ales. Very, very expensive. Poor service. Music too loud to hear conversation. Lots of nice eye candy though!! Seriously i'm sure in such a crowded bar that a barrel of ale could be maintained in ok condition!!

They could do with sorting out the eating side of things. Just make it a bar that does food rather than the awkward split that currently exists. Considering the prices they could do with tarting upthe outside a bit - most of the tables are more pissed than the wanabbes who drink there.

Dissapointed with this place - called to reserve an area for some leaving drinks and the guy I spoke to was both unhelpful and rude. Will head somewhere else instead, where the staff can be bothered to be polite.

I visited this bar last night as my friend has just recently moved to Wimbledon. Was not disappointed to say the least, though was told bar was quieter than normal, a very luxurious venue. Drinks fairly priced compared to the prices elsewhere. Wouldn't mind trying a bite to eat as looks a good place to dine. Definitely would recommend this bar.

This could be an OK bar but it really is just missing something. A large part of the bar is sectioned of for eating which is fine if they were full, unfortunately few people seem to eat there so you are forced to stand while over half the seats are left empty. The cocktails are passable - but do not always contain the right ingredients... might be worth pointing out that a Mojito is made with White Rum not dark... and this is were the problem lies... the staff are so rude it is untrue. The look like they do not want to be there and generally give the place a bad feeling.
This bar could be good, but currently it just really isn't

Nice place to sit outside and watch the world go by (if you can get a table) but it's a bit pricey. Not been in at the weekend but service was okay on a quiet weekday evening.
Has a pretty extensive menu as well.

Not a bad place, lively and quite a bit of eye candy, however, much better to be a woman in here as you get served within a nanosecond if you are. Guys have to wait whilst the 16 bar staff (of which only about 2 will be doing anything) show off for the girls doing stunts with bottles like some piss-poor Tom Cruise wannabes rather than actually doing their jobs by serving customers. Not bad though, not bad

Not bad for a post-work drink Mon-Thu, but can get pretty busy at weekends. The food looks pretty good and they have a fairly comprehensive cocktail menu, although there's also an equally decent selection of lagers if you prefer. One of the few places I've been to where there often seems to be more women than men! Hmmm... maybe I shouldn't have posted that... :)

Been twice now with my better half and still undecided, wine bar, restaurant, viewing gallery, green house???? Good for wine and cocktails (so I'm advised) and yes this place caters for the more discerning. A friend recent balked at the prices and dragged me into all bar one for cheaper plonk, which turned out to be a good move....

Wow, what a great place, no wonder the previous punter didn't like it if they were a Footlights fan, finally a spot in wimbledon with a bit of class that takes its food and drinks seriously! Great vibe, friendly barstaff who have obviously all been trained superbly to make great drinks, a spring punch in happy hour full of fresh strawberries raspberries and champagne is the best value for money you'll find in london!! it'll also give you the best hangover if you become as addicted to them as I am!!

When this place was Footlights, it was ideal for meeting friends after work for a natter and some good food. Now the Terrace is pretentious, its staff are rude, and its loud. We couldn't have the puddings we wanted because vanilla ice cream was off the menu, they refused to take any money off the bill for the inconvenience. Then they had the cheek to slap a 7 service charge on the bill, we refused to pay it. Because the waiter had little English when he was asked for a desert menu, he just shrugged and walked away leaving it for us to find the small section tucked away in the corner of the main menu. An altogether unsatisfying evening. We left as early as possible and will not be returning.

This place is really a restaurant so I don't know why it's on the list. Just be patient - it may seem empty but it's actually all upstairs.

Now re-opened as the Terrace. Seems very pretentious!
