Now called Silversmiths following its Gordon Ramsay makeover. Most definitely a restaurant now rather than a bar and apparently it's very good.

Rather odd decor suggesting a brothel, but usually excellent (if expensive) food. Beer run-of-the-mill and expensive, cocktails good but also expensive. A good range of live acts and DJs most evenings.

I have heard rave reviews of this place, but having now been I cannot understand why. It is expensive with a poor choice of drinks and is always very smoky (roll on when it has to be smoke-free).
It has bizarre decor that is what I imagine an 80s singles bar must have looked like. I'm sure I've seen it in Only Fools and Horses.
It's major redeeming features are that it is open much later than everywhere else in the area and is fairly relaxed and trouble-free.

Heard good things about it. Don't listen to Luigee, he puts down everywhere that isn't Vodka Rev.

Recently opened bar down near Hallam Uni. Visited it briefly for a look around. Little or no frontage indicating location. Inside was like something out of a bad 70's fortune tellers house. Velvet curtains (shudder) and horrific concave mirrors lining the walls.
Decided it probably worked a lot better during the night and saved further judgement until I saw the cocktails on offer. Menu was disappointing. Having two versions of each cocktail (real version and cheaper alternative with lesser liquors) is an ill advised choice, and a poor way of beefing up the menu.
The "specials" board was laughable, with again 3 versions of the same cocktail the only thing on offer.
Will have to go and try food one day, but not ina ny rush.

Fantastic little late bar in Sheffield City Center. Great bar staff, great cocktails & great atmosphere! Well worth a visit.
