very good pub. Went there with a crowd after playing football and were welcomed by landlord and regulars. very reasonable prices. Only one ale which wasn't quite the best, but a price worth paying overall.

Fantastic, try the quiz on a Tuesday night !!

On a recent visit the Spitfire they had on was very good. The Seafarers was off, but one can only assume that is also well kept. Nice local with a friendly landlord.
Definitely recommended for a pint or two.

My favourite pub easy. Great staff who will occasionally treat you with some cooked pub snacks (not of the greatest quality but its the thought that counts). This pubs is especially good if you like to play darts. Guinness is very well kept.

Great pub been drinking in the area for quite a while and popped in during a footy game recently. Nice, and friendly pub, has sky no real ale as such fair pint of the black stuff and usual mix of lagers and cider etc. prices very reasonable run by a very nice irish crew think they have folk music as well now and again if thats your thing fergal, carol and all the staff seem very nice would recommend it, all you need now fergal is a quiz night mate. this and the dacre arms the best in the area by a mile, this just gets my vote now as it has later hours and also has sky. get in their........

Sounds boring, but I too agree with the previous reviews. This is a wonderful pub. Real ale isn't its forte but it gets my vote as the 3rd best pint of Guinness I've ever been served. (Sackville in Dublin, James Joyce in Calgary are the best 2)
A welcoming and friendly place in a neighbourhood devoid of decent boozers.

Taken over from the Woodman as the best pub in Lee. Friendly staff and punters. Highly recomended.

A decent basic pub. Never really had a night out there but pop in from time to time for a pint and a read of the paper. Always made to feel welcome.
|
A great local's pub. If you fancy a chat, sit at the bar, you'll soon be sucked in. The guinness is excellent and it's hands down the best pub in Lee.

This is a cozy and attractive pub. Worth a visit.

Friendliest landlords I've met in ages. Despite being a local/regulars pub, we were made to feel very welcome from our first time in. Great selection of beer for a small local pub. The jukebox is full of classic rock. Given the four main options in Lee Green (the two Tigers Heads, and the Edmund Halley), this is hands-down the best. They got a beer garden too (although admittedly not a great post on December 1st...)

Nice friendly pub, great beer garden in the summer. The barman was extreemly polite and quite handsome!

They used to have great folk music here on Monday nights - I know that they have it on Wednesdays & Fridays - but the Mondays were special as there used to be an eclectic mix of styles Folk, Blues, Country, Irish, Dylan, Pop etc It would be an even greater pub if the Monday crowd returned
