Friendly pub with Rebellion real Ale and some hard to find premium lagers. Entertainment most evenings with live bands every Friday.

As I had heard such good comments about Scorpios recently, I went along the other Friday with some mates to check it out. Scorpios is under new management and they have transformed it from the dark and dingy hole it was when it was McCouls, into a really cool place to go. We had an excellent night, the music and atmosphere was great. Went back a few days later to try out the food. They have a good choice on the menu, and the food was very, very good. Will definately be going to Scorpios on a regular basis.

Went along the other night, great atmosphere, excellent service. Intesting decor - not sure about those lampshades, though!!
I'll certainly be back soon - and I've heard the meat-raffle on Sunday lunchtimes is not to be missed!

This is now called Scorpios Bar (no apostrophe) and is even more dire than it was before.

Recently opened bar, with a bright open plan. Experienced chef offering good home made food together with a fast service and reasonable prices. Open weekends until 2.00am with lively music and dancing, would recommend a visit.

Terrible Irish pub. Beer quality, noise level and clientele all potentially dangerous. Tasteless and lacking in character.
