I went to the new sound across from the old one and it looks great. Too packed but the music was gr8. Big place like 6 fls. Lots of drunk girls trying to bust a move on my guy. Saw what his face from big brather in th eVIP bit. I would go again on a weekday maybe.

I think this place has gone downhill a lot in the past couple of years and is now frankly awful. Far too loud, far too expensive and no real atmosphere. I have no plans to ever visit again and withdraw any previous positive comments.

This place is shit. I'm loathe to say that about any establishment, but it's the God honest truth. Expensive beer, rude bar staff and unconvincing tacky mock-Latino decor.music. You're spoilt for choice around this area, so don't bother with this gaff.

I didn't say that it wan't expensive because it is (though I don't ever remember paying 5 for a bottle / pint). It is good for a 'one for the road' pint before you head home - I have only ever been in here after 11.30 and not ever had more than 2 drinks.

Rubbish!
I walked in during Happy Hour and it looked more like a Pizza Express, by the time the club opened I had had more than enough spending 5 per bottle of beer all I wanted to do was leave.
Touristy shite! Go to Loop on Dering Street - much better than this sweaty hellhole.

Although I am in agreement with the previous comment, this place does have it's uses. It is usually quiet, you always get a seat and it opens very late (I usually go into the bar via the Leicester place entrance which I think is the same bar). Basically, if you want a quiet drink after the pubs have closed and you don't want a full on nightclub, this place is worth considering.

Soulless tourist trap - avoid at all costs.
