Closed in the last month, just like Patrick's (around the corner - not listed), both places tried upmarket food but falling customers numbers.

Re-invented as a London boozer
Been here twice in the last month, a Sunday lunchtime when football was on, jam packed full, a Thursday mid afternoon with only 3 other people in.
Both times a short measured 'pint' of Doom Bar costing 3.90
Unlikely to make a third visit.

Went to watch the England v Wales game on Saturday 2nd Feb, really good atmos, free bar snacks (cocktail sausages, chicken, scotch eggs Etc) massive bigscreen TV and another 40 incher tucked away in the comfy bit in the corner so easy to see game, really good day despite the result. From memory drinks didn't seem too expensive either.... great pub

nice big pub with good range of lagers and spirits. recently refurbished to a high standard, much cleaner and brighter but still keeps the chilled friendly atmosphere. resaurant highly recommended especially for the high quality of sevice. always a smile behind the bar and something going on at the weekends.

Nice Pub,but the Ringwood best was far too expensive for a local beer

A quality sports pub with the usual pool tables and darts boards, and pretty much show every footy match going. Nice interior, the pub is split into two main areas so you can either get lashed in the noisier part with your mates or chill out in the more quiter and comfortable area. A good bunch of bar staff also and the usual bunch of regulars.

This has the biggest "Big Screen" I have ever seen! It is a bit pricey and has a basic menu but the friendly bar staff make it a worthwhile choice...
