We had a meal here on Thursday evening.
Bubbly atmospher good selection of real

Presented and good portions.The service
and the open fire complemented the evening

Two visits since the new management took over - beer is certainly excellent and the place now has a nice buzz about it. Food a bit hit and miss though - good portions and reasonable prices but a few schoolboy errors; fish a bit soggy, gravy a bit watery. Hopefully teething problems only though.

Now a great pub,6 Ales all in Good order.3rd pints available.Good reasonable priced food.lots of memorabilia.Definitely Worth a visit!

The new management here are making a brave effort at running something like a traditional boozer. Generally friendly welcome and decent beer. So far so good.

This pub, which was once very much a local boozer, is being slowly refurbished as a more up-market establishment.
