It is now a Costa Coffee.
You can go in, spend 15 quid on a round of mediocre coffees and come out wondering what the point of living is!
Seriously, the cheapest coffee is more expensive than a pint down The Swan!

Great pub, loving the Restaurant upstairs. Great staff, enjoyable atmosphere.
What I really love about this pub is the fact you can sit down in the leather seats and feel like your at home.
Defiantly a home from home

Gets rammed at weekends but well run and not too much trouble. A pubs mainly for the younger sect. One real ale and a good selection of lagers. Good food. Apparently a lovely garden is on it's way, sounds good to us.

Awful place, If the brains of some of the punters were any smaller they would be in a zoo and the staff werent particularly friendly especially the slaphead with glasses behind the bar...

Dreadfull. Hate everything about this place. The customers are pretentious posers and the staff are shallow and predantic. No real choice of drink, although they do sell Jagermeister.

Sounds like others below have had their noses put out of joint. I had a good game of pool upstairs (decent table) with a couple of mates. Good selection of quality lagers (nice to see Bud on tap). Not everyone's cup of tea but it is very lively at the weekends!

When this bar opened it was a refreshing change to what else was in Wantage (at that point the King Alfred wasnt open). They served food upstairs, and the big sofas and big windows allowed you to watch Wantage go by. Then it suddenly all changed. They closed for a few weeks, re-vamped and drove the business down matrket as fast as they could.
