CLOSED - now a dwelling called "Bricklayers House".

Planning approved for redevelopment into housing; the pub should be retained as a house although it has been damaged by arson. Goodbye.

Closed and boarded up on 28 April 2011.

Went for a meal last Saturday and after main course we tried to order desserts and was told that the kitchen was closed. If this pub serves meals then they should serve complete meals and be polite when a genuine complaint is made.

Went in for a quick point, absolutley disgusting! (wasn't off, just tasted horrible) food looked nice but with ale that bad I wasn't going to hang around.

Nice clean pub with a friendly atmosphere. Nice garden with a big playground. Food was nice and good value but the vegetables were boiled to within an inch of their life. Bah, what do you expect.

The food in this pub is extremely good. It is all fresh vegetables and Luke the Chef makes all the dishes himself. Pam the landlady is a popular friendly host.
