This isn't in Wollaton. It's in Aspley.

To Nick - I think the fact that it was a THURSDAY LUNCHTIME speaks for itself mate. Hardly gonna be rammed when people are (or should be) at work is it??

A hellhole. No more can be said.

Now under new management, looking forward to changes. Will the place stay open for food and drink on a Sunday afternoon. Will the Gents toilets be sorted out so you don't need a swim suit. Looking forward to some changes that favour the locals.

Have to say that this pub has one of the most efficient and courteous barmaids around - makes a pleasant change from the usual standard

Why did they have an auction when a football match is on when they paid all that money for the wide screen. Cant watch football on a sunday afternoon because she shuts a 3:30pm we have to go elsewhere to watch it unless its a pool match can you explain?

I would like to inform you the beechdale has very poor standards the landlady has no interests in the pub.No children allowed unless they're eating but after 20 mins they have to leave unless its family or bar staffs children. I cannot understand why shes been allowed to run the pub down when in the right hands it could be a goldmine

The beechdale so much potential but they lack the drive and fail to listen to customers .ie i run a pool team with most pool teams you get shirts new balls etc just to encourage us but beechdale nothing not even a free game of pool on match night to bring us in early and start drinking ..poorly run

could be brillant pub,but landlady has no idea what the younger customers want and need.she caters for her age group in the lounge, how about the younger generation catered for in the concert room, ie: juke box ,so they can choose thier own music, loud enough to hear it too.
