Opens during the season, so the premises are still in the catering arena, but no longer a pub or a bar.

Well we've put our skates on - and will be open before Easter, hopefully 2nd week in April 2011!
We very much look forward to welcoming old 'Decker' customers to come a sample our Brazilian coffee, as we no longer sell alcohol.
We are really looking forward to being able to support and service the local Looe and surrounding community, together with welcoming all the tourists as well.
With our mission to provide a place of refuge, peace and a listening ear to those in need, we aim to offer an alternative choice to places like Wetherspoons.
Whilst at the same time we fully intend to make sure The Rusty Bucket Coffee Shop is a wonderfully fun place for all the family to relax and enjoy.
Please visit our facebook and twitter pages to stay up-to-date with out opening times, specials, offers and all the latest events.

Place was always a bit of a shambles. Glad to see it has finally gone.
The Rusty Bucket is a little way off opening night I would say. They will have to get their skates on to still call it a "spring opening" as it says in the window!

We were on our honeymoon and came across The Decker, we popped in initially for a drink in the evening and thought it was lovely. So we returned the next day with some family to have something to eat.
We were very very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food and the service was brilliant. The price for the food that we received was excellent!!!! All of the staff were friendly and the general atmosphere was very nice. We ended up going at least 3 times on our honeymoon and will miss going there. The new owner has been there since January 2009 and i must say is doing a fab job!!
I wish them all the best there and all i can say is if the service and quality continues it will be a great success.
Many Thanks

Newly re-opened with a fresh, smart interior. Kitchen not up and running yet but the Tinners I tried was excellent. The Landlord is a Camra fan and was happy to chat. He plans to get a guest ale to complement the three St. Austell ales on offer and promises all the food will be fresh and locally produced.

a nice place to drink, but i was not sure about the food. has a chicken ceaser salad, and the chicken tasted and had the texture of rubber, it was not nice at all. good prices, but the food it was a big let down for me. Cheap doesnt have to mean rubbish! having said that, still a nice pint and friendly people behind the bar. just needs to be sorted out and this place could be great.

Nice chilled out bar with good food and good portions, a million miles away from the London priced Restaurants that surround it.
|
Only eaten here and very impressed. 8oz Rump Steak 3.99 (at given times) and first class. Recommended by locals to us. After being ripped off everywhere this made a refreshing change.

worse than the Boscarn ........
|
That's better, alot better than Admiral Boscarnage! The staff is friendly, and I'm not affraid to have a drink in there as the Decker is a lot cleaner, and modern!

30 yards and 30 years from the Admiral Boscarn, The Decker is more like a coffee bar than a pub. Staff pleasant, drinks fine. Different from the rest.
|
A quite good pub good drink offers and nice iced glasses a step in the right direction having left the boscarn
