Nice pub but the marquee should have been better ventilated on Saturday and the tables more spread out. I can understand the desire to get as many paying customers in as possible though. Enjoyed my pints of Wherry without bothering with the Pedigree or Broadside.

Not the greatest experience in the world went down with severe food poisoning after eating here and ended up in A&E. Not much in the way of an apology from the pub.

I agree with the previous poster that the front bar or the 'old' restaurant are the places to eat. Great food, good service and the best pint of Wherry I had in my fortnight-long visit to Norfolk. Well worth a visit.

Nice old pub with superb beer (Tom Woods was perfect) and the food was good. Make sure you eat at the restaurant at the front rather than the awful brightly coloured disaster at the back. In fact the whole of the extension at the back lets the place down a bit. Stick to the old part of the pub though and you will enjoy.

Pretty on the outside - watch your face on entry - low hanging beams aplenty. Very popular with the entire population of Norfolk. Beer tasted fine, cosy rooms of yore at the front. For what the back room lacks in character, it gains in screaming berns attacking their grubby faces and plastic high chairs with cow&gate. Family friendly, food looked and smelled edible.

Great pub. Good food and good beer.

Splendid pub. Two main bars, Restraunt, family room and hotel at the back. Superb beer and top food. Always a pleasure.
