Pleasing to see Taylor's Golden Best on the counter. A welcoming, wine bar-style pub with aspirational menu (and aspirational prices) that perhaps lacks a bit of atmosphere. The beer is perfectly fine but the food did not always come together from its well-cooked, imaginative constituent parts. So nearly very good indeed.

This pub is open again and i highly recommend it to those of you that love atmosphere and great food. Friendly greeting, great new menu and a beer garden which has to been seen to be beleived. Ignore the picture on this site that needs to be updated. 10/10

Re-opened last year after an expensive makeover with a new image as a fashionable wine-bar style venue. Sadly, something didn't work and it now stands forlornly all closed up... Shame.

Has potential but does not live up to it. Sadly it�s a GK pub is a village full of GK pubs. Cosy bar and nice garden. Only Abbott was available when I visited. Loud punk which was great.

Fairly uninspiring Greedy King pub as far as I could make out. Was happy to move on.

The Long Melford Swan is a traditional village real ale pub with something for everyone: live music, quizzes, darts & crib... It has a great atmosphere and attracts people from all walks of life and all ages.
