Yes this pub has been done out and does look nice BUT, its still full of the same people who gave this pub a bad name. Not many people know what this pub is really like

I had an Indian meal at the Pelaw inn last week, and it was one of the best indian meals ive ever had, the restaurant is decorated out in true indian style,the staff couldnt do enough and the prices were reasonable. afterwards we all went downstairs to enjoy the band, brilliant atmosphere. the person writing the last message should go out to enjoy themselves and stop people watching

I just visited the pub earlier today and I was amazed at the friendly welcoming atmosphere, after reading some of the comments on here I was expecting a Royston Vasey type affair with swinging saloon doors and people staring at the stranger for ages after you arrive. It's not like that at all, you can have a brilliant pint of snakey and a bit craic no bother at all - I look forward to my next visit!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME IN THE PELAW INN, ITS A LAUGH A MINUTE PUB DUE TO THE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AND COLIN PELAWS NUMBER 1 DJ. THE ONLY REASON IT IS RUN BY BOUNCER WANNABEES IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WHO SPOIL KEEPING UP WITH THE FRIENDLY BANTER AND WITH NO SENSE OF HUMOUR ARE BARRED! TO ALL THE STAFF KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOUR DOING A CRACKING JOB .

the pelaw inn is one of the best bars to drink in at the moment, there are new management who have redecorated the place gave it a homley atmosphere, they have got rid of all the trouble makers and it is a very nice place to go, on tue nights they have a quiz where you can win �50, fri night is an 80s skool disco, sat night live bands and sunday kareoke which will be starting x factor soon with a chance to win �500, upstairs they are opening an indian restaurant.
the bar staff very friendly all in all an excelent pub
