This used to be a Mr Q's pub with pool table(s) etc. Was busy when I last went in the late 90's.

it was OK, though you could never use the bogs cos' of all the local druggies in there.

shame this closed to cater for all the rich locals
........surely they had enough pizza houses

Did you all know that ASK Pizza Pasta Restaurant has bought the Railway Public House, DO WE NEED ANOTHER RESTAURANT AND LOSE THE ONLY PUB IN THE HIGH STREET THAT MANY NORMAL PEOPLE USE. ITS THE ONLY COMMUNITY WE HAVE THESE DAYS. PLEASE POP INN AND SIGN THE PETITION AT THE RAILWAY PUB

Excellent watering hole! Very friendly staff & plenty of colourful local characters to be seen, but get there early during the weekend to ensure a table before the onslaught of au pairs!!

half decent, local pub for local people...not much passing trade. plenty of tradesmen, roofers, landscapers, decorators doing the "pint after work thing", decent bunch of lads... also a fair amount of transient totty due to the money in the area and the constant turnover of au pairs that accompany it.
too many coke heads, inbreds and spoilt rich kids.tho'
