This place has the reputation for being Banburys "meat market" and I can see why! This is the place to come if you are a bloke who is desperate or just needs a s*** with any old slapper on a Saturday night- because you will certainly find them here!!
Its actually a bit like walking into a scene from a horror film and for anybody who isnt desperate for a s*** or want to be shocked at the typical "Banbury Birds" i would highly recommend that you do NOT anter this place as it will give you nightmares for may months to come!
The best thing in this pub is the Exit door!!

The Beer and lager is terrible, I had a pint in here and had the shits for a week. Also what are the women like in there, talk about mutton dressed as lamb

Dear oh dear - i suppose the underclass need somewhere to go and fight (that will be when Yates is too busy)and the only plus point was the toilet was clean - but it wouldn't flush!!
The Guinness was OK but then so are a couple of ABBA albums after 8 cans of White Lightning...

LOOK HOW MANY MAILS ARE FROM THEIR PR/MARKETING DEPT BELOW, it will take more than a lick of paint to polish this rotten turd, its the same venue, the same staff, the same music, the same rubbish food (my friend was mad enough to try it again and they waiting over an hour for the mains only then to be cold and wrong) it has the same bar and prices and fights! AVOID AVOID AVOID. If this is your venue you should be ashamed if you this pait and a few marketing mails on here will sort it.

Chicago Rock Cafe Banbury is an excellent pub with very friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. Most drinks are under 2 pounds during the day and not much more in the evenings which is great value for Banbury.
The recent refurbishment has rejuvenated the venue with a much more modern feel. The pub also has an extensive and varied food menu which is well priced.
Top this off with a late license and a variety of music to cater for all tastes and this venue shouldn't be absent from any pub crawl.
It has to be one of the best pubs i've been in and my life will not be the same without it and i'm talking from the perspective of a patron.

Very, very crusty, seriously these CRC places need bulldozed they are shite to a one. I got some food from one once and they put whipped cream on the nachos.
Also some of the people in here would put you off your pint, especially the 25 stone monstrosity we saw wobbling round the dance floor in 6 inch high heels and a dress that was sized for a four year old, if you can imagine a full water balloon squeezed into a couple of napkin holders you will get the picture.

God this place is shocking. I've seen people get really badly beaten up in here, I've seen a couple have sex on the dancefloor... It really is the absolute pits. Crap music, horrible, drunk people and the most disgustimg toilets I've ever seen. For a major nationwide chain this is bad.
