Lovely pub from the outside, bar on the inside. No real ale.
Popular with the students for the cocktails, usually pretty packed. Fairly pleasant, clean pub with pleasant staff.

Cocktail central for Aberystwyth. Only real reason to go in. Be warned on Halloween 2005 it was the scene of a hit and run egging incident.
Pretty expensive, but nice interior.

Strolled into here early on Sunday evening, no MILD so walked straight out and into the "Lord Beeching" almost next door where I had a refreshing pint of Brains Dark MILD.

You need to wear a pit helmet to read your newspaper__ it's that dark! Beer tolerable but expensive for area
Why do pubs in Aber use sparklets on the Real Ales thus killing what should be an enjoyable drink!?!

Since its 1998 makeover, this place is now a cocktail swigging student bar. And to be fair it does it pretty effectively.
Don't go in for a beer though, they're dead expensive and not too special either.
Lots of nice girlies though!
