Edwards has gone and in its place we have another Wetherspoons, The Sir Daniel Arms, which those of you from the area will know was the name of a pub from a bye-gone age which was situated near here. Can't really judge so soon after opening but looks to be nice, just beware of the hike to the loo's

Closed down with a big sign saying that Wetherspoons have bought it, don't know if 'spoons will shut one of their other 2 downtown Swindon pubs??

Always dead and over priced! Nice toilets but have to trek for 2 miles to get there!

I agree with some of what the swindongal has written, too expensive, 6 fights a night, rubbish atmosphere & not the best night ever. I think she says on the Lava Lounge page this is one of the better pubs in Swindon... Go figure.

Can only imagine the previous comment was from one of the staff. It's OK but if this is the best night out you've had in Swindon you should get out more, sorry.
