As of April 2014 this was closed. Appears to be some activity on site though, as if it is a bit of a building site, so maybe undergoing a refurb? Someone was jet washing the outside area at the front for days.

this pub should be knocked down as it is never open and it makes the place look really untidy and not a good impression to people coming to dawlsih warren from the train station especially if they have never been before,

Now open under new management.
Huge refurbishment, clean up and decoration under way.
Currently open to the public serving a wide selection of drinks.
Massive improvement to old pub.

Felt like i needed a tetanus shot just from going in there. Never open now anyway. I agree with brummyboy, so much potential just wasting away.

Oh my God!!!! Don't bother, it's a dump but it could be brilliant. It's in a great spot next to access to the beach and funfair, but is just so run down and un-appealing. We had one pint and left. The beer was sh**e to. Legged it to Lee's Bar sharpish.

Agree with paulb on the look of the place. They advertise as a family pub but need to make more of an effort - could start with a bit of decorating and a sprucing up of the garden to make it look more appealing.

It is a great pub about 5 mins away from the beach and it has high entetainment levels it has friendlyu staff and the food is gorgeous, it is like a cosy home with all the good things about a pub.
