The Perce is a great pub for one reason. The people. The bar staff are great and after a visit or two will generally remember you. The regulars are also a bunch of fun. No hand pulled bitters but there is a decent range of lagers.
A good break from the gastro pubs of Islington (no kitchen) the Perce is a throw back to the old fashion boozer. Crowded and noisy when an Arsenal/England game is on.

Didn't know whether to be scared or amused by the locals here - probably a bit of both. One suspects the people who came here before the refurb are exactly the same as those who come here now. Two pools tables and a chatty barlady weren't enough to keep me here longer than a pint.

The pub has just had a complete makeover, great job and its good to see that the pub has not lost its atmosphere. Great opening night!

It has a relaxed, friendly and welcoming feel, with comfortable seating, spacious areas with sofa and most importantly...clean loos for the ladies!!!!
It is as much fun on a week night as it is on PARTY NIGHT!!!

Great pub just like cheers!! Everyone knows your name. Staff are funny relaxed and will do most anything to make you feel at home

Great pub and a great atmosphere served by a friendly crew, they also do some discos and theme nights which always go down well - Highly recommended!

THIS PUB IS UNDERGOING A REFURBISHMENT - SPOKE THE GUVONOR JOHN AND HE IS SO EXCITED AT THE PLANS HE HAS FOR THE PUB AND INVITED ME TO THE OPENING EVENING ON THE 31ST MARCH - CANT WAIT - STILL TRADING EVEN DURING THE WORKS - GREAT PRICES!!!! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE FINISHED PRODUCT!

Popped into this pub in the week before a client meeting, not only did I have a decent sandwich and coffee but it was a nice surprise to be able to logon to the wireless network and get some work done.
Went back a few nights later with some pals and I've gotta say we have a great nice, warmly welcomed with a decent choice of beers.
