Good honest pub with decent food and beer. No more to add really.

a lovely friendly pub with super-clean toilets. I dont think we would eat here as it looks a bit chips with everything but the staff are cheerful and very welcoming.

After trying out the Chav friendly Smugglers, it was nice to go to the White Horse. The dcor is old fashioned but that does add to the charm. The food is very nice (even if the puddings are seriously overpriced for what you actually get) and there is a great selection of beers. The pub is also a bit like the Tardis as there always seems to have another section lurking around the corner to be discovered. I have been reliably informed that the beer garden is also massive, but as this is a very cold December, I will wait until the summer to check that out. Recommended.

very nice pub, i actually live in milford on sea, so may not be a objective opinion. But great food and people behind the bar are happy....
