Coach and Horses, Brixworthback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The Coach & Horses is one of two or three pubs in the village of Brixworth. But, it was the only one I tried. Set on a hill, there are two rooms at differing levels. There were a group of drinkers in one room and a group of diners having lunch in the other. Hobgoblin & Wainwright were the two real ales. A third handpull had a Pedigree clip turned round. Staff seemed pleasant. Average place.

Had a very pleasant lunch there yesterday, was very impressed with the food and service. The pub could probably do with a lick of paint and new carpet though.

I was referring to The George in Brixworth NOT The Coach & Horses, which is in fact a VERY good pub, good food, good beer friendly staff. Sorry, its late!

Used to be a really good village pub. Now very mangy, no food, chavs in the bar. The brewery should be ashamed they have let such a good pub slide so far down the toilet! The villagers of Brixworth deserve better

Used to be my 'local' when I turned 18; I much prefer it to the other 2 pubs down the road either due to the clientelle or the setting of The George and The Red Lion at ay given time. Bar area usually very quiet, see a few regulars most nights. Restaurant serves nice food but need to update their menu as I think it's been the same for nigh on 10 years and in that time the pub has changed management. A sturdy 7/10.

A pub/restaurant where main courses are good value and starters and puddings are not. Beer is also expensive in this Free House
