Pretty unremarkable street corner 'old blokes pub'. The beer (Vale's Grumpling Ale - named after the Perisher's character ?) was okay but nothing exceptional. Football on the telly (without sound), okay for a swift pint, not really somewhere for a night out.

came across this pub a few weeks back. great beer, if a little warm.

Fantastic traditional pub with great beers and great service. Well worth trying to find it!

Been in here once with work to play darts and it's a nice little traditional pub. Had a toasted sandwich which was nice and everyone elses food looked nice and it was cheap!

A cosy little pub, off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

A warm welcome all the time. Wonderful Deuchars IPA and it has its own festival twice a year. Good for watching the football scores come in on a Saturday afternoon.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Family friendly, but still a traditional local. Serves cracking good Deuchars IPA all the time. Great cheap food in the afternoons. Best pub in Luton.

A cosy, low-ceilinged local with featuring an L-shaped bar. Wood pannelling to the bar and around the fireplace create an intimate and welcoming interior. Perimeter seating with royal red cushioned upholstery. Batemans Dark Mild, Greene King IPA and Young's Special on handpump. Very friendly locals all drinking ale - a good sign. Pub features a dart board, a gaming machine and two tv sets which were quite loud but conversation was still possible. A good pub all in all.
