Clarence, Rusholmeback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now shut down. Will undoubtedly resurface as yet another curry house.
No great loss, to be honest.

Apparently was a good bar about 10 years ago and got a decent crowd in with quite a few Irish. Has been a kip for years though and, as has been said, not the friendliest.
Probably scraped by before city moved house, but not really got any purpose now.

This pub looks permanently closed, I don't know if that's the state of affairs or not. Sounds like the Albert is a better option anyway.

The Guinness is reliable but that's about the best you can say. Too busy with the Curry Crowd and it can take ages to get served. Can have a bit of an unfriendly atmosphere, too. Better off with the Prince Albert down the opposite Walmer Street.

this is closed at least for the time being

Excellent place to meet up before going for a curry, but gets a bit busy later in the night and the drinks tend to be on the expensive side (a pint of coke in here costs more than the likes of Kro Bar). Has a couple of television screens presumably are for sporting events. Well placed for a quick pint before heading off elsewhere, but not the right kind of atmosphere if you want to stay all night.
