Voted Mid Anglia 2016 pub of the year. No food at the moment but a wonderful range of beers and ciders. Not open weekdays till 3pm.

Voted mid-Anglia pub of the year in 2014. Now a free house with up to ten real ales, three ciders and a few lagery type things. And all very cheap!!!! Has just started doing food again. Brilliant pub after so many years in the doldrums.

Many pubs in this area still close in the afternoon, even on summer weekends. The Vine is one of those that is open all day at weekends. With a group of cyclists drinking outside, a few drinkers inside and a couple of diners, the landlord seemed to be a bit stretched in trying to cook food, serve food and dispense drinks. Whilst service for me was quick, others were having to wait a while as he was in the kitchen. This is a decent pub with plenty more potential. It has a large car park with a similarly large garden, good for families. The interior is also fairly nice. Beers on were Adnams Bitter & Ghost Ship & Woodfordes Wherry & Once Bittern.

Very recently re-opened. Visited on 31 December and was welcomed by the new landlord, Ivor. Woodforde's Wherry, Adnams Southwold Bitter and (an excellent) Old Ale on. Landlord intends to use third handpump (Old Ale) for local micro-breweries. Food available once kitchens have been refurbished. Future plans may include some camping facilities at the bottom of the extensive garden whilst retaining the kids playground.

Friendly village pub. Only 2 ales (usually Adnams Bitter and Greene King IPA). Playground for the kids out the back and a pleasant beer garden for sunny weekends. Refurbished in recent years. Friendly village people usually at the bar and there is a popular pool night here on a Tuesday. Usually open all day. Not a bad boozer.
