Best pub in Brighton - lovely staff, excellent food & drink, great music, big leather sofas, free WiFi and an open fire in winter, what more could you need?

I consider this my local despite living 10 miles away.

Comfrtable shoes are a must........went in with my girlfriend and both made to feel slightly out of place. At the time we were both in shoes, not overly comfortable. However my work coleague had lunch and said how nice it was.......(but he does wear velcro fastening shoes)

Really friendly staff, good beer and an interesting range of cocktails and vodka although chilli vodka could be much hotter. Nice laid back pub that DOESN'T neccessarily require you to wear 'comfortable shoes'.

Amuse yourself and your friends by asking bar staff to make endless cocktails and watch the panic on their faces when they can't find the instructions to the landlady's latest masterpiece..

A nice little pub - frequented mostly by ladies wearing comfortable shoes...

Great service, great drinks. A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Western Rd and Churchill Square.

This is a regular stop for lunch when we are in town - highly recommended.
