Agree more of a food pub, but what excellent food. Best Steak and Kidney pie I've had in years. Would go well out of the way to eat/drink here

Another favourite of mine. More of an eating pub now than a drinking pub, but good choice of well kept Wells ales available. Food has always been excellent although in really huge portions! Service also been very good and fairly priced.

Very nice but very expensive.

Pretty country pub with a lovely fire that is lit during the winter. This pub does lovely Sunday lunches. Food during the week (lunchtime) can vary from being fantastic to very average for the price. On the whole, worth a visit and worth trying the food.

I've only popped in here for a drink, but I was impressed enough to want to come back at some point for a meal. Very attractive pub. Beer was good, service friendly. Looks like a good location.

This is the best pub in the area. The food is wonderful, always an interesting menu and always good quality. Its not the cheapest food, but this really is a case of you get what you pay for.

Bedfordshire Dining Pub of the Year 2006. (The Good Pub Guide) Also one of the few pubs to completely ban smoking - something which is to be very much welcomed. Food is of a high standard and would be great to visit for a special occasion. Interior is quite small but the bar area is nice and well decorated, the outside seating area is also picturesque and pleasant, the location itself is in a beautiful little village which offers peace and tranquility.
