OK pub, go there now and again to play pool, 4 tables so can normally get a table. very smokey up that end though, and need to get some proper fans. also seen a few 'deals' going on, and people in and out of the loo's very very frequently.

Yes, this pub is a little sports bar-esque but the Quiz night on Thursday's is so good! Really entertaining & fun, easy too!

to much of a stupid fun pub nowadays that consequently attracts groups of young lads who cant handle their beer. beer not cared for as isnt cold

This place got the same treatment that the Dolphin on Holdenhurst Road got. Thankfully they haven't gone the whole hog with incessant disco/karaoke nights. Another plus is that the locals are much more amiable than those in the Dolphin though that isn't difficult in truth. Downside is that they don't look after the beer too well. Had a ropey pint of Ringwood Best the last time I was in there.

a locals pub and very much a blokes pub. Big screen tv, 4 pool tables and dart board. Excellent value for meal menu
