Gutted when I heard that this place was closing. It was never going to be 5* or fine dinning but it was always busy, great atmosphere and inspite the look of the place it housed the nicest staff and punters I have ever been.
Bit small, bit run down but that all adds to the atmosphere. Many a great night had here.

SLak Bar is one of the best bar I have ever visited in my life.
Frendly atmophere and the most friendly and good looking Bouncer on the door.
He's down to heart and very helpful.
I lost my warlet with more than �250 inside, he looked for me and handed it over as soon as I showed him a prove that it was mine. I hope every bouncers are like Michael if I get his name right. He's got good personalty.

The Pub is one of the best pub in Cheltenham and the manager is cool and the Bouncers are the best and friendly one in UK.

Great music, very friendly, cool without the arrogance. I recommend it to all! Comedy nights must be checked out too, the first monday of every month!

Did a gig at Slak on Monday 1st Sept 03, great crowd, brilliant atmosphere, really friendly, check it out!! Next Comedy night Monday October 1st i believe.
